What is STED?
STED is CIEL AMBRE’s Scam Text & Email Database that will document the scams that we come across and provide detailed commentary on how the scam works and how to avoid falling victim to it. The intention is to ensure that we alert families of the numerous scams that are in the wild today so that we can ensure that the entire family is aware and secure.
Aren’t There Already Scam Databases?
Absolutely, however our database primarily aims to provide education for families concerned about security. Other databases mostly provide the ability to search a scam to double check that a message you received has already been reported as a scam. CIEL AMBRE’s database will focus more on deconstructing each scam to provide more context about the scams and how they work with the ultimate goal of teaching families how to identify these scams on their own. In short, most databases are informational, STED is educational.
When will STED be Available?
A placeholder post will be available immediately in our products section for STED. Currently the plan is to have STED available by March 2025, however we’ll be sure to update in the case there are delays in release.
How Much will STED Cost?
STED will be free. It is one of our complimentary educational products as we believe the education it will provide is essential to share with all families concerned about internet security.
